Picosecond Laser Principle

Instead of thermal effect, the picosecond laser uses very short pulse output. When the laser energy is absorbed by the pigment, the light vibrates and “breaks” the pigment into tiny particles by focusing the energy， and breaking down the melanin and pigment particles in a “picosecond” pulse. The picosecond laser means that the skin takes less time to heat up and reduces the risk of hyperpigmentation.
